I'm on a cruise ship going up the Coast of Canada eating great seafood.

With eighteen years of financial services and tax experience, Maria is tag's Tax Credit Compliance Manager. Prior to joining tag, she was an Internal Audit Manager at Florida Telco and a Tax Auditor at the Florida Department of Revenue.

Relevant Experience

Implements New Markets Tax Credit compliance activities, including all IRS and CDFI Fund requirements
Planned, developed and coordinated operational and compliance audits and presented directly to the Audit Committee
As a tax analyst for a multi-state medical company, led process to ensure compliance with state sales and use tax audits
As a tax auditor, reviewed financial records of businesses and determined if taxpayers were in compliance with Florida Statutes
Conducted closing conferences
Has extensive experience with financial services compliance activities
